What is a good laptop brand?

I would like to know what is good and not overpriced. Obviously alien and macbooks are gd but expensive. I also heard dell is pretty bad. I am wondering what you would recommend. Btw, the laptop I currently have is Acer and its been working great for a few years so I would like ur opinion on that also.
