What are some good suggestions for detox?

I want to become a little healthier. I was on a good health regimen before, but a little bout with anxiety had me eating fast food and gaining back some of the weight I so proudly lost. Red lumpy follicles on legs?

My hamster was hypnotised or something, any ideas?

we have a year and a half old teddy bear hamster, chubby, happy and apparently healthy. I got him out half an hour ago and was stroking him and talking to him (I know, I know) as always. After a couple of minutes I stopped stroking him and waited for him to move, but he was completely motionless, eyes wide open and ears up. I was a little freaked, I blew gently on him, and tried to feel for a heart beat, but nothing. My little boy was getting so upset and I really thought Hamtaro was dead :( I was just about to put him down (he'd been frozen and unresponsive for a few minutes) when he moved his whiskers, had a sniff and was back to normal in a minute! What happened?? Did I hypnotise him by stroking him? I know hammies can hibernate if they're cold, but he's always warm enough. When I was stroking him, he was snuggled in a fluffy blanket, so he wasn't chilly. I'm hoping this is natural and doesn't mean he's on his last legs. Does anybody know what might have happened? Thanks in advance.

Feeling extremely tired. (For Vegans)?

Legumes and grains contain phytates which stop minerals being absorbed by the body, including zinc and iron, so maybe that's why you're so tired. my body personally can't handle being vegan/vegetarian, not everyone can, so maybe you can't either. I have a low thyroid and it's best not to eat too many legumes. try, chia seeds for more energy, they have all the amino acids and are high in minerals. you can buy them at health food stores.

Your story is very good, but your sentence structure and general grammar needs some editing: pronominal possessives need to be indicated by punctuation; there are some superfluous commas that are not needed with conjunctions and some conjunctions that need punctuation, etc. Line editing comes with time. Right now, I think, you have the general idea of a beginning, middle, and end of the story; you have the idea of character (the reader's heart rends for your protagonist); you have the idea of setting. Your descriptions are good, if not a bit florid, and your POV in the story was pretty solid. Your spelling and grammar just needs to develop more with your already developed gift of storytelling. But tolerance goes hand in hand with political correctness. I'm not opposed to being civil, but there was a time when intolerance was considered a virtue. Consider the Royal Navy's ship, Intolerance. Where is the line crossed? Must I really respect someone's choice in following a "religion" that was founded by a pedophile, that promotes wife-beating, and advocates beheading, stoning, and the severing of hands and feet?

Fight scenes in modern films, not as real as in older action movies?

Modern fight scenes are very unrealistic. When is the last time anyone beat up six or seven people at one time or landed 50 punches without breaking both of their hands. At least in old movies the fighters who won the fight, looked like they have been in a fight.

Meditation does not require any particular phraseology. The basic things which are helpful in this is enthusiasm with which you meditate, the concentration and the sincerity you put in your worship. For self-realisation and to reach to that 'truth', it is important that you do your meditation with non-attachment, being pure and truthful in your prayer. NAAM could be through chanting but that chanting should spring from the heart and not from your brain. Initially you require some effort in this endeavour and slowly but surely your efforts will fructify and you will be able to connect with Him. This is not acquired overnight. To reach to that Truth, mere words are not sufficient. Urge from your personal being should spring up and transform you thoroughly. Follow any religion to reach Him, but that way to the Ultimate Destination is only acquired through self-purification and with oneness of purpose. Tongue recitation initially and then realising Him through concerted concentration (inhale and exhale concentration) on the centre between the eyes till such time you get light and ultimately peace.
