Hubby got Workman's comp for most of 2006. Wondering if he will get a W-2 in the mail for it?

He has never gotten Workman's comp b4 and have no idea how it goes. since he only worked 2 month of 2006 and we have 1 kid will we get more back? I have read and been told that it is not taxable but don't know if they still send a W-2 or not on it. any info would b great. plz make sure you have your facts straight i don't want to have my hopes up and they get shot down when we get taxes done and i dont want to b all worried about having my taxes done either. so make sure u know what u are talking about. PLZ
