I have been offered a new job but don't know if I should leave my existing job?

The first thing that comes to mind is to talk to your current employer in a gentle way to get his thoughts on this. It's better then taking him/her by surprise with an unexpecting resignation. Ask others for their opinion (Proverbs 24:6 … in multitude of counselors there is safety.)
