Tax rebate checks—for married couples?

If you filed your taxes jointly, whose SS# will the check be sent to on the IRS schedule? Is it always the male spouse? Will there be one check if you filed joint? Will the child credit be in that check, too? Or are they sent as 3 separate checks?
