Do you get defensive when people bash on your particular uality?

I always say something when people are "bashing" against my uality or other people's. Although since i'm not fully out its extremely hard to be able to know when to not get too defensive otherwise people who i don't want knowing about my uality right now would probably realise i had something to hide. But i do try my hardest to stand up and say something when i can.
