we have a year and a half old teddy bear hamster, chubby, happy and apparently healthy. I got him out half an hour ago and was stroking him and talking to him (I know, I know) as always. After a couple of minutes I stopped stroking him and waited for him to move, but he was completely motionless, eyes wide open and ears up. I was a little freaked, I blew gently on him, and tried to feel for a heart beat, but nothing. My little boy was getting so upset and I really thought Hamtaro was dead :( I was just about to put him down (he'd been frozen and unresponsive for a few minutes) when he moved his whiskers, had a sniff and was back to normal in a minute! What happened?? Did I hypnotise him by stroking him? I know hammies can hibernate if they're cold, but he's always warm enough. When I was stroking him, he was snuggled in a fluffy blanket, so he wasn't chilly. I'm hoping this is natural and doesn't mean he's on his last legs. Does anybody know what might have happened? Your story is very good, but your sentence structure and general grammar needs some editing: pronominal possessives need to be indicated by punctuation; there are some superfluous commas that are not needed with conjunctions and some conjunctions that need punctuation, etc. Line editing comes with time. Right now, I think, you have the general idea of a beginning, middle, and end of the story; you have the idea of character (the reader's heart rends for your protagonist); you have the idea of setting. Your descriptions are good, if not a bit florid, and your POV in the story was pretty solid. Your spelling and grammar just needs to develop more with your already developed gift of storytelling. I also have bought a new external harddrive. Just transfer your music to a file on ur external drive, and open your external drive to the folder and select "play all" on the left hand side of your screen (uming you have windows xp). It will add them to the library and then you can burn them. Then simply delete from player library and your music is wtill on your external, and no longer on your C drive.

I'm worried about a friend?

me and my friend are 14 and we've been friends for a few of months. I always knew she had some problems but after getting to know her personally I am seriously worried. She has a really rough home life (parents went through nasty divorce, hates family, lots of big fights, etc) She knew someone at our school who recently committed suicide. I've heard that she had a past of cutting herself. She lies a lot and comes up with these crazy stories, many of them violent. I'm guessing she does this for attention. She is pretty violent herself (always talking about how she wants to punch all these people in the face) I've looked up suicidal warnings and it says giving things away, and I recently noticed that she's been subtly doing this, nothing big, just like little things (ex: cheap ring, shoelaces) She loses her temper over every little thing with her mom. I haven't really paid enough attention to be sure, but she's very skinny and hardly ever eats at lunch. I'm not sure if maybe she's just seeking attention or if I really need to be concerned and find her some help. And if so what help? I'm just really worried and need some advice.

Self portrait arm for cameras? How do you use them? Timer only?

Just recently I've seen these metal arms that you use to take a self portrait with. They have a head on them that you can screw your camera into just like a tripod. My question is that at first they seem like a cool idea, but the more I thought about it the more I wondered how they would work. What I can recall of the movie is a teacher and her students are writing letters to Santa who is incidentally kidnapped and being held hostage. A hunt ensues for Santa. As some point in this movie I think the teacher runs through the woods in a red cloak singing for the children to come to her. She is being chased by an ogre or a recluse who lives in the woods of some sort. Also, Santa ends up in Africa or in a place with Africa-like conditions where a rescue mission is launched. Cole wasn’t hated before Daniel Bryan, because no one cared about him either way. If he would’ve ceased to exist no one would have been happy or sad about it. He was known for being only a horrible announcer who didn’t deserve a job. But after Daniel Bryan’s WWE debut and their feud, Cole is totally different. Cole now is a big time heel who is hated by most and even loved by some. The guy has even gotten his own catchphrases. The criticism of his announcing has gone down because of this and it wouldn’t surprise me if Vince has given him a raise to boot. Bottom line: people actually care about him now one way or the other. Doesn’t Daniel Bryan deserve the credit for this, for getting him over as a heel in their feud? And don’t give the weak argument that Vince deserves the credit. Are we invited to a wedding if we received a "save the date" postcard but not an invitation?

In July, we received a postcard asking us to "save the date" for a niece's wedding. No time or place was given on the postcard. Now, 3 days before the wedding, we have still not received a written invitation to the wedding. We've not been told what time or where. I am a devout Christian. I have gone to church for most of my life. I do not read the Bible very much, but I know many of the lessons that it tries to teach us. One question that I can never figure out an answer to is this one. Why did God not simply destroy Satan when he rebelled? Why is Satan allowed so much power on the Earth? I have read some of the Book of Job and heard much about it, so I know the lessons of following God and being rewarded in life and in the next life. Is God trying to give Satan, who God made with free will, a chance to repent? Is the Devil just a means of testing the faith and morality of humanity? Is the Devil just proof that God gave us free will? I reject the Devil and his ways as much as I can. As a Christian, I wonder why God allows misfortune to come upon those that have already proven to be moral. Why does God allow Christians, his people, to suffer when they follow him and his word? I do not understand. By the way, if you are simply going to answer me with God doesn't exist or I am an idiot for believing in something, then save us both time and energy and don't answer.

I'm too old to have done them! But my 18 year old daughter got 11 - 9 A* and 2 A and my 16 year old son also got 11 - 1 A*, 3B and 7C. I think he'd tell you that getting Cs and above will open doors so don't stress too much about the A*-B - just aim to work hard and consistently and you should be OK. Okay so I'm 15 and a virgin. I had my first period on January 1st, 2009. Mine was really irregular and I hadn't had it in about 7 or 8 months but since about september 09 it has been normal. Our house has crown molding in every room - it is a beautiful honey color in our dining and kitchen. Our kitchen has cabinetry to match and is painted a warm yellow. Our living room (the molding is a cream color) and our paint is a beige that almost takes on a very light olive color depending on the lighting. Our dining room has the same honey molding to match the hardwood floors (in dining and living room) and is painted an awesome cranberry red (glad the previous owners did it cause I'd never have the guts but looks great! Now, my son's room that is no longer was painted an army green (with the same molding and floor as the dining) and it looked pretty good for a teenage boys room ... but it is now being converted into a den. Transfer students get in a little easier because you already have credits and have shown you can be successful. I don't think there is a set gpa for transfer students. I was one myself. I would think you wouldn't have a problem as long as you don't screw up in the fall semester you should be good. If this helps please select as best answer! Okay well I was married for 7 years to my high school sweetheart, but a couple months ago we split and I filed for divorce. I returned in June and noticed that my feeling for my husband had totally shifted I was no longer in "love" with him, yeah I cared for him but not in the same way, I decided to talk to him about how I was feeling and told him that he should pay a little more attention to me because my love for him was dying, I told him I needed him to show me love, to show me that he cared, to spend time with me, yet he never listened. I recently was contact by a person using the e-mail address kelceytruelove@yahoo.com. At first there was nothing to suggest this was a scam because the profile that was posted was well written. The person claimed to be an american woman on a business trip in Nigeria purchasing African artwork to sell in the United States. Of course, I knew something was not right when Nigeria was mentioned due to all of the scams coming out of that country, but I gave the benefit of the doubt because there are people who travel to various locations to purchase artwork to sell in other location. However, it was by the third e-mail that the good grammar went away and the writing style changed to suggest that another person was contacting me, and I was also told that she did not want to use Yahoo's Instant Messenger and could only be contacted by e-mail. This would suggest to me the person or persons was keeping track of what I was writing to keep their story straight when I asked any question to previously discussed topics. Nearly a week later, this person contacted me with this sob story about how she was robbed of all her money and valuables and did not have the money to pay her hotel bill so she could return to the US as planned that day. She claimed that her uncle loaned her $650 for her $1650 hotel bill and ask me to send her another $650 to pay for the rest. See the problem with her math? No, I did not send her any money and I reported "her" as a scam artist. My question is has anyone else seen this e-mail address and/or similar situation before and willing to share to to help other people avoid this scam artist?

The colors appear to be desaturated, so the first thing I would try is go to Image/Adjustments/HueSaturation, and pull the Saturation handle to the left. That might be the easy fix. What may work even better, though, is if you make a new layer and fill it with a light pastel color, and then pull the opacity of that layer down (maybe somewhere around 25% - 30%). Hope this helps.

Did you have a Disneyland wedding kinda long?

When my hubby and I got married 4 years ago I was 18 he was 21 we had a quick wedding in Reno, not because I was preg or anything like that his mom wouldn't out of my plans and was making me too stressed out. So we're going to be married 4 years next month and for a 5/6th wedding anniversary we want to renew our vows at Disneyland since we'll have the money to do it then. I know you have to book a year in advance and it will cost $30-60,000, but what I was wondering is it says on their site that if you want to have the ceremony and reception outside of the castle it has to be out of park operating hours. So does that mean having it at 1am or 2am? Lol because I would still do it anyways even if it means having it so late I'd just wait til the summer since we got married in the winter I don't think doing it in Dec would be a good idea over doing it in July/August when at 1am it's still in the high 60's at the coolest. Trouble seeing lane markings in rain?

When I drive during the day and it is raining, I have trouble seeing the lane markings on the road. It is even worse at night and it is raining. It's like the road is just one big black slab of rock. When it is not raining, I can see the lane markings just fine. I wear gles and I'm nearsighted. I've made it a point to never drive when it is raining. Does anybody else ever have this problem?

This is almost definite sign of IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I'm by no means an expert in the way of medicine but my mother has IBS, and literally anything she eats makes her sick. For her however, IBS was only a sign of other things, including a lack of iron in her blood. I know she took B12 vitamin supplements in order to balance out her iron levels and basically much of her other issues have calmed down, including her IBS. My only real advice is see your doctor. It's what they're there for.
